4 Wheel & Off Road
| About this magazine 4 Wheel & Off-Road covers the truck scene for new truck buyers and hard-core trail and competition drivers. REVIEW: This magazine is for the serious off-roader! Each issue (usually 150+ pages) gives great coverage of extreme trails and purpose built feature trucks with an emphasis on rock crawling and mud running. This magazine ignores those pretty show trucks and instead focuses on in-depth articles on parts swapping and upgrading for a bullet proof truck. Tries to show all type of trucks, but tends to feature a large number of Jeeps sometimes. A must read magazine for those not afraid of scratched paint or dented body panels. - jdh |

REVIEW: Gives more attention to show trucks and newer vehicles than other 4x4 magazines with more show coverage than trail runs. Features more trucks with 44" tires and blowers than any other magazine on the planet, but most probably never leave the street. Even so, the articles are good quality and give step by step info on later model upgrades as well as some of the basics for older models. - jdh |
